Copying files to floppy

Hi all,

No doubt a dumb question.

How do I copy a file from a directory to a floppy disk at the command line?

I have mounted my floppy disk and am in the appropriate directory from which I want to copy.

(Sorry to quote it but...) in Windoze I would use the copy command.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks!

I also found that you can use;

mcopy <filename> /media/floppy

for anyone else who may be interested.....

Note: the above mcopy will only work if the floppy has been formatted for use with Windows. If you put an ext2 filesystem on it, mcopy will not work. If you are interested, it is part of the mtools packages, and there is also the htools package that allows you access to hfs floppies (Apple Mac) in the same manner.
