converting icons

I used to convert Mac icons to .ico way back when I was usin' XP (shudder), I wonder if anyone has found a way to do this in Linux. Many are available on KDE Look, but I would like to snag some of the newer ones for my own use, and the artists are very reluctant to release raw versions usually.

Anybody done this?

I know this isnt Linux, but in Windows, I use a free program called "@icon Sushi" to convert the .ico to .png so I can use them in linux. Google it.

Try that out if you still have Windows around.

damn and blast!

Of course *Hein* the great icon *GOD* who will not mingle with anyone non-mac, puts his icons in an archive format that will not work, something called .sitx.hqx...

Bastard!

Oh well, there's plenty of great stuff out there.

Thanks again!
