Hi,
I am using Fedora Core 2. I have got three partions in my PC of
type "ext3", i want to convert those three partitions in "vfat" or
"fat32" type, is there a way??, i tried with commands like "parted",
"fsck" etc. but failed. If there exist a way to convert these
partions to fat32 type, then after converting, will these partitions
be accessible to me in LINUX ??
Regards,
Im assuming you wanna install windows on one of these partitions?Im not to sure that fedora will like vfat to much , I mean as if you wanted to install a home dir on a vfat partition , i mean it would work but you would have to install the dos tools i think its called . That would have a file called mkfs.vfat
Just so you know, you can't convert between the two without losing data.
You have to move your data off the partition, format it as vfat, and move the data back.
