hi,
I have a centos 4 pc with dsl connection. My problem is I want to controll bandwidth used by differnt application.
like allowed bandwidth for firefox = 100kbps, ftp=5kbps.
how can i do it? is there any appliccation or commad for this?

Just like you use Iptables to set marks other ways but use the "owner" module instead.
"iptables -m owner --help" for more information.
