Control print output from PHP/HTML... PDF?

We are using PHP to access MySql. The Web Pages display just fine.
The printing of the reports output needs tweaking.
The position of the base section of the page has to be just so: positioned exactly on any browser!

Say for instance, you want the address information to be shown in an envelope window...

Now I'm thinking pdf...

I've been playing with a number of tools and this has led me to GhostScript.

While I am having fun and have found kewl things like

Time is of the essence.

Any ideas where I could find a quick tutorial on PostScript, PDF and or
converting HTML/PHP to PostScript?

Ideally minimal conversion of the existing PHP output.

Much appreciated
