console screen blanking

When using the console the screen blanks after a while.
There must be a way to alter/disable this anyone know how?

yea u can change that with the xset command
i can't remember the option u need to pass to the xset command to disable it but it's somewhere in the manpage

For virtual consoles use setterm -blank 0. See the man page for setterm for more options.
