Console Cursor Disappearing

I don't have a clue on this one. For some reason, my cursor sometimes disappears. tty1 is fine, but tty2 and the rest don't have a cursor. I've tried resetting the terminal... no soup.

Any ideas? This is a real pain when trying to edit files.

If anyone has any thoughts, I'm all ears.
