configuring static ip address for printers
Hello everyone,
I have tried to configure network printer(HP LaserJet 4250n). I connected the new printer to local network with ethernet cable,and also connect to my Pc(which has ubuntu 14.04 operating system)through USB cable, but I can't access the new printer to configure static ip address. So, if you have any idea, please help me.

You can view the IP address from the control panel. I am not sure if you can configure network settings from the control panel or if it is done via its built in web server.

Thanks for your quick response,
But, I can't access or I can't get the printer from the control panel although it is connected to the PC.

The network configuration may not be available if it is connected to the PC via USB.
I am referring to the control panel on the printer itself not the Ubuntu control panel.

On my Office Jet Pro L7680 HP Printer, to get to the option for setting a static ip address, press the Setup button on the front of the printer, then navigate the menu to Advanced Settings-->IP Settings.
