configure options for compiled binary

Hi,

Is there a way to find out the configure options a user used for a compiled binary? Is that even possible? Thanks..

In most cases, no. An exception is gcc, which stores the information somewhere in its data dir, try "gcc -v". There may be other programs that do the same, but it is rare.
