computer time difference at linux & Windows

My computer has different time when booting to linux or Windows.
How to make the time the same?
My computer time is 10:57pm Apr 14 when booting to linux.
My computer time is 2:57am Apr 14 when booting to Windows Vista Home Premimum SP2.
Both OS are set to the same time zone (GMT-5. Eastern Time US & Canada).

what version of Linux is this ?
in EVERY distro i have installed there is a WARNING on dual boot with Microsoft
turn off UTC !!! on Linux

if you do not
MS will set the system clock ( on the mobo) one way ( a Microsoft patented way )
then Linux will reset it to a universal open way
google " UTC"

if Windows is installed YOU MUST -- YOU MUST use Microsoft’s patented way

Fedora 12.

the warning was in the " install documentation " for the NOW end of life fedora 12

fedora 12 will NEVER be getting any security fixes
for all practical purpose fedora 12 is DEAD

if you are going to use fedora then
please stay current and install fedora 14 !
then in 3 months install fedora 15

Whether you use Fedora 12 or 14, go to Date & Time in the System Administration menu. Choose the tab Timezone. Set your zone and uncheck the box that says "System clock uses UTC".
