Computer doesn't get turned off after shutdown
hi,
I am using AMD system with via 8237 southbridge and via km400 north bridge. I am using Redhat Enterprise Linux 4.0 and my problem is whenever I shutdown my system it wont get turned off automatically. I get the message acpi_power_off called as the last message. There is no problem with Redhat Enterprise Linux 3.0 or any other Linux distributions. Need help. Thanks |
Dose you kernel have apm(advanced power managment) installed. Slackware dose this aswell if apm isent installed and it is commented in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules
