Compiling cvs

I've downloaded the latest cvs snapshot of kde3. In the directory for ie kdebase, there's configure script. How do I get myself a configure script?

See if you have autogen.sh. If so, run that, and it will build and run a configure, leaving you with make as the next command.

Don't even bother untill you've downloaded and correctly installed QT3 beta 6. You should read this page first, it describes how to get kde 2x and kde 3x living together without completely breaking your desktop enviroment.
