command line way of playing .mp3?

Hi. Is there a way to play mp3's on the command line? Im out of X Windows and at a terminal.

So I don't need a GUI to play an mp3? I can play a song while at just the terminal?

Sure can, mpg123 is installed with most distros by default. Another non X but GUI mp3 player that is very good is mp3blaster. It runs via ncurses, and is very easy to understand.
