Thsi is in reference to bash.

Dark blue is a dir
What do the other colors mean such as green, lt blue, and red. Are there any others that I missed?

Green= executable file

Light Blue= symlink

Yellow= device

Flashing Red= broken symlink (target missing), or symlink that points to a target that you don't have permission to access

There are more; type "dircolors --print-database" to view all of the color associations.
