Ok i got some old PCs, 233 Mhz, 233Mhz, 333Mhz, and i am getting a old one from a friend, and from what i can tell it's a P2 i can't tell the speed. I am getting bored, and need something PC related to keep me busy so i was like hey old computers + project = making a cluster.

Some questions i got are, i can boot them over the network using cluster knoppix, and the nodes would contain no HDs, cd drives, or floppy drives. How do i go about doing this, i think the NICs have to have PXE, and the BIOS's have to support network boots, can someone link me to PXE NICs, and how do i tell if the BIOS supports network booting?

Only the master node will need a monitor and keyboard and mouse correct?

Any thing else i should know before beginning this project?

Edit: I got a spare xbox, anyway to integrate that into my cluster (more then likely the answer is no).
