Client cannot open few https://.. sites i.e. secure sites

I have a problem with the client pcs. I have a squid proxy server where i am able to open the site https://mail.nic.in but the linux client pcs running mozilla are not able to open the site and give an error "mail.nic.in not found". I tried with iptables settings but it does not work. But windows pcs are able to browse nicely.

Hi

Maybe check the proxy settings on the client machines that cannot use https? There is an option "Use this proxy server for all protocols" right under where the proxy server name is. Is it checked?
