Chromium compilation woes

When I tried compiling Chromium from source I got an error that va_list, va_start and va_end were undeclared.
Does anybody know what these are and/or where they come from? I was thinking it might be from Qt and maybe version 3 doesn't support these...

what distro are you using, i.e. try getting a prepackaged format. Otherwise try downgrading a version number.
