chown giving operand missing error

I have a directory like:
drwxrwxrwx 10 abc root 4096 Jun 22 03:30 dashboard

I want to change the owner of that dashboard directory, like
drwxrwxrwx 10 ABC root 4096 Jun 22 03:30 dashboard

I am using command /usr/local/packages/aime/ias/run_as_root chown -hR ABC dashboard

But it is showing operand missing error. Please help.

I am not familiar with the highlited section above but I am confident that the syntax below will work.

Code:
sudo chown -hR New_User.New_Group(if needed) Directory_to_change
