Changing volume minimizes full screen view

I have this problem that is every time I'm watching something in Full screen and try to lower or raise the volume using the volume scroll on the laptop (Toshiba Satellite if it matters) it minimizes the view which is kind of frustrating so any suggestions? I'm using Fedora 12

since no-one has answered yet...I do not use fed....let me suggest that you look at either KDE control panel for how your shortcut keys are configured or whatever window manager / Desktop Environment you are using.

Basically I suspect that keyboard key is linked to the wrong action and you just need to reconfigure it. I don't have a laptop either so good luck

fedora, full, minimize, screen, volume
