hello ,
how can i change the ownership for a directory and all the directories inside using the terminal .
i tried by using

if you want to change all files then just add the -R
Code:
chown -R -h "username" "directory name"
But if you specifically only want to change directories then try:
Code:
find . -type d -exec chown USERNAME {} \;
