Did you check the syslog files? Please let me know your comments. Best regards Jhon |
I'm not 100% on how it's setup but have you tried out editing your /etc/x11/xorg.conf file? I used to change my resolution on Slackware with that file before Slackware 13 seems to pick it up fine.

@kc3 i will try
@jcardoza i know the video card support the res |
Code:
root@box:/etc/X11# ls |
Hm... Yeah I'm not sure how to do it without the xorg.conf file unless you maybe make one but I'm probably not the best person to ask for that. I know Slackware13 I doesn't have one either but in 12.2 I did, hm...

there should be away to do it
the only res choices are 640x480x8bpp and 800x600x16bpp |
Well searching around a bit I found two posts on other forums about this.
http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/f/topic-3-1-19986-0.html http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...fm/575903.html It doesn't seem to say anything about that specific resolution BUT the guy on the second post said he fixed it by booting into the prompt and fb800x600, maybe you can try that with your own resolution? Sorry about not giving super precise solutions, haven't used Damn Small that much and I'm not certain too many members of these forums do use it. |
