Hi-
i'm running Suse 9.1 Professional, and have downlaoded some nice icons i'd like to use, psecifically the metal trashcan, similiar to Mac osX.
How can i chagne my trashcan icon without changing an etire theme?
I'd also like to change the icon for my K-menu, which is currently the Suse lizard.
no dice.. I navigated to /opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg and changed the extention to .old on the currect trashcan, and pasted in the new steel one, renamining it approriately. I did this for the 128x128, 64x64 and 48x48 icons.. but still no change, even after restarting X
mykrob -- The icons in your desktop though will be located in /home/<username>/.Desktop That's where I think you need to make the change.
Also, per the LQ rules, please don't bump your own posts unless at least 24 hours or so have elapsed without a response. We all know it can be frustrating to have to wait for an answer, but believe me, give your post some, and people who have advice to offer will do so. -- J.W.
