Changing passwords via email and webforms

Hi,

Right now i have my users changing their passwords via Usermin. However, I have this restricted to within our local networks. I get some people that are out of town that need to change their passwords so I have to relax my firewall rules.

Is there an app out there that can send an email with a link to a webform that would allow a person to change their password? I suppose just having a simple webform to change a password would work.

Most major sites have stuff like this but, is there a common app that can do this?

Thanks,

The one I've used and liked as it had options to restrict root and any other user accounts from being changed was this one: http://chpasswd.sourceforge.net/

If your also doing this across the net, I'd probably suggest putting it on secure https pages as well for encryption.. etc. But do note, this is only for the one system, if you have more than one, probably isn't going to work very well..
