changing motherboard and kernel
I need to change my motherboard.
Slackbox(my computer) is dead.
after the change when I plug in my old ide devices,is it best to boot using a rescue disk and a generic kernel?
the kernel in /boot on my hard drive was obviously compiled on my old board.
any oher gotchas?
I'm really keen to not have to re install the whole system from scratch.
thnks in advance.
