Defies words. It is not a surprise something like that is available from a site with a name like OMG! UBUNTU!
(Big sigh of lamentation.)

Linux is nothing if not flexible. If someone wants an XP theme, they are free to have it.
I personally love defining my own desktop look and feel, but I have not just a few friends whom I've gotten into Linux but only so long as it is themed like Mac OS. Even if superficial, I guess a change in OS plus a change in all the user apps is just too much to learn. So keeping the GUI the same does seem to help. And really, what more interaction than a few desktop functions do normal users have with their OS?

Yes. There is nothing wrong with someone using a Windows theme, because that person finds it visually appealing. Configuring a system to look like a different system to make new users feel "comfortable" is a different matter. I know I have an aberrant way of thinking, but I do not see the point in switching to something different (Anything: OS, car, screwdriver.), then trying to make the new (and different) thing look like the old thing I no longer want to use. But that is just strange old me.

Zorin OS is an Ubuntu-based operating system aimed at Windows users that are switching over to Linux. This may be the easier way to use a Ubuntu based Windows like theme.
Hope this helps.
Have fun & enjoy!

That Zorin os looks interesting. I quite like linux especially because i dont need the antivirus or such things and i have actually installed in my mothers computer after the xp support ended even though maybe it does not really matter because i see many people still using xp... It just that my mother sometimes complains about the new look and so on... so i thought to make it look like xp... She only uses computer to browse internet and read email. Also this computer is quite old and slow but linux still seems to work faster than xp did on this machine. She dont want to buy a new computer... This is only some ten years old or something.
