Question Changing file attributes from C

In linux I can modify read, write and execute permissions for root, user etc...

On a Windoze file system though, the attributes are read only, system, hidden and archive.

How can I change these attributes of my files on my mounted FAT32 partition?

In C.

"in c" ?? as in C progamming code or your "C" drive??? if it's the latter, use mattrib. if the former, ask in the right forum.

Surely "On drive C" would refer to the C drive and "mattrib", and "In C" would refer to programming.
Also, wouldn't anything to do with Linux fit in the forum "Linux - General", or does this forum title rather mean the General of Linux, which would be who??? Linus himself, maybe?

2 questions result...

1) Where is the right forum for asking Linux C programming questions? (For future reference)
2) Where can I get the source code to "mattrib"

Since (2) I can just as well figure out myself...
I can say you answered my initial question. Now I know where to start looking.

1. The programming forum is here.

2. I believe mattrib is part of the mtools package.
