Changing default installation path for pirut

Hello! I have the following problem i want to configure pirut to install my rpm packages not to /usr folder but to /usr/local, or other folder. I know that pirut using yum to install the packages, but i have not found the way how to configure yum or pirut to make it possible. Is it possible to do? Or yum have no such ability? I using RHEL-5.2

You could decompress it and install it manually or recompile from source and set a different installation path.
