Change/import passwd for many users

I am using rh 9.0
i want to import a passwd(text file) to these user
How can i use the script or other methods to
change the passwd for the users

You'll need to look into a language called Expect. To change passwords for existing users via passwd you'll need a way to wait for prompts and send data when it's ready.

Expect and shell or perl.
