Question change from graphical to text logon mode in RH8

I was also wondering how I can change from graphical to text logon mode in RH8

Hi !

<CTRL> <Alt> <F2> should bring you to the text mode interface.
<CTRL> <Alt> <F7> should bring you back to the X interface

I don't know where it goes, but you need to change the default run level from 4 to 2.

What I ment was:
How do I boot up in text mode if RH8 is installed to boot up in X mode.

Edit /etc/inittab
change id:3 in id:4:initdefault:
