change filesystem from ext2 --> ext3 or Reiserfs without reinstall everything

hello,

Can I change the the current FileSystem with a another FileSystem without reinstalling my linux machine ?

I want go from ext2 --> ext3 or reiserfs !

is that possible ?

tune2fs -j /dev/partition
vim /etc/fstab
change ext2 to ext3
reboot

ext2 can go to ext3 without no biggie

but to go from 1 file system to a different one (like ext2/3->reiserfs) you'll have to copy the contents of 1 partition to another partition, then use the reiserfs progs to create the root partition as reiserfs, mount it, then copy everything back, then modify the /etc/fstab
