change default background color in openbox?

Hi

Some applications I use, Psi, Emelfm and linuxdcpp does not have an
option to change the background color for the windows.
They seem to use a default somewhere, which is white, and I would like
to have black backgrounds.

I use gentoo and openbox.
Anyone know how to fix this?

thanks.

The configuration files are in
$HOME/.config/openbox/
... you use a text editor.

Probably the best way is to create a theme.

hmm.. can't seem to find any option for the regular window content background.

a lot of great tips on the "create your own theme"-link though... thanks!
