Cellphone + Linux question

First, I think this should probably go in the General "Open Discussion" Forum, but I figured I'd start it here.

Lately, starting the beginning of the month I began to recieve early AM (1:00am - 2:00am) calls from "Private". They make stupid noises, have dumb music playing, etc. Then they'll turn around and call the house phone and pull the same horse crap on that.

Calling the cell phone company is useless. They need a supena from the police to access the private # from the systems. Calling Verizon about the land line is useless too... same manure different shovel.

Does anyone out there know of a way I can access lower level functions of the phone through Linux so I could "possibly" see the Private # show up?

If theres any forums out there that would have at least someone interested in this sort of stuff i'd figure it be here. So thats why i'm throwing this out.

Scott

If the information is not being sent to your phone by the phone company, there is no way to get it unless they tell it to you AFAIK. Phone the police. This sounds like a case of harassment.
