sorry, solved, don't read


Hi,

I am currently learning to burn cds under linux. MAny sites tell me to check if cdwriter is configured by typing 'cdrecord -scanbus', but everytime i run it it says that the command is not found. Any ideas?

OOps sorry, i forgot to download a the software. I thought cdrecord is an internal command.

You have to do "cdrecord -scanbus" as root.
