CD-ROM problem in dual-boot

i'm a newbie linux user, I was able to install linux mandrake 8.1 w/o problem on my 8.4 GB HDD in my PC, I added a 2.0 GB as master drive and install windows 98 on it and dual-boot linux and windows using LILO both OS loaded fine but I can't seem to make win98 detect my CDROM can you help me on this...

Primary HDD(2.0GB): Windows 98
Slave HDD (8.4GB): Linux Mandrake 8.1
dual-boot using LILO

problem: can't detect CD-ROM in windows 98, but able to detect it in DOS and Linux.

well being a linux forum, might not have much luck here but if windows isn't detecting it, have you tried manually installing it ? if it shows up in dos, it should work in windows.. since 98 is on top of dos.
