Unhappy cant get ssi to work

i tried installing this tagboard which requires ssi and i realized it wasnt working.i went to the httpd.conf and found these lines:
# To parse .shtml files for server-side includes (SSI):
# (You will also need to add "Includes" to the "Options" directive.)
#
AddOutputFilter INCLUDES .shtml
AddType text/html .shtml
AddHandler server-parsed .shtml

then i check the directory thing and one line says
Options Includes
but the ssi still dosnt work.did i left anything out?

Are you sure it doesn't work?

BTW, this says the line should be

Options +Includes

not just Options Includes
