why dont they support read-write by default? and why is it dangerious?

It's bad joo joo It's still alpha, but is becoming closer to beta more and more. You can read all about it over at:
http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/

It is possible to write to NTFS drives, but is said (and does) destroy data, so normally destrctive things are enabled by default

Oh and I appologize for missing the ntfs line for your fstab, glad you figured it out quickly
