Cannot boot after installing new motherboard
Hi! I have Fedora Core 6 installed on an old IDE harddrive. Recently, I upgrade the system with new CPU, motherboard and RAM. After that the system won't boot properly. Here is what happened:
grub loaded fine.
kernel booted fine.
while udev, a lot of error messages appeared, I can only read the last one: "/etc/rc.d/sysincit: line 923: /bin/usleep: Input/Output error"
system freezed
If I leave the system off for a while (e.g. the next day), the system will boot fine with only some minor problems in the network card which can be fixed after I logged in.
Can anyone give me some help? Thanks.
