I am working in a Windows 2000 networking environment. I have a Nowell 3.12 LAN connected with the W2k domain. I installed Netware client in my W2K professional and map a network drive (F. After that, I can run my dos legacy application residing in Novell server by opening a Dos session under W2K (start -> run -> cmd.exe )
I am new to linux and I want to know several things:
1. can I use linux + wine to logon to Windows 2000 domain ?
2. can I run the netware application through wine ?
There is no need to use wine for either of these things - wine is for running specific windows programs in linux - ms office, games, etc. The linux box can log on to both netware and w2k domains.
