can we change the bkground of the grub

could we change the background of the grub ???

I've tried this before. You take the /boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz file, unzip it, and you can draw all over it. Zip it back up. Problem is the colors are screwed up after I drew on it (atleast for me.) If you can solve that problem tell me!

is there any way i could get any knda images in that particular format ???
