Hi all

I have recently installed suse 9.3 and would like to
listen to a particular radio station with Konqueror.
It is no problem when I do this with explorer on windows
system. The way it works is that when you click on the
link it brings up a new window with all the audio
contols in it.

The audio stream as far as I was told is media player
stream. I think some kind of plugin is needed but I
could not find which one and don't know how to get it.

I will aprreciate if anyone suggests me something for
this. Thanks.

There may be three separate things that need to be done to get this to work.

1. Install codec necessary to decode the stream.
2. Enable java for that web site
3. Install the plug-in for the program that will play that type of media

There may be a windows protocol that you may also need to install support for.
If this website uses an ASP control instead of java, then it may not work in any case.

IMHO, any web-site that requires you to use iexplorer should not be patronized. Even if you are using windows.
