Question Can I resize the display in Ubuntu?

I installed Ubuntu 5.10 on an iMac 233 and I need to resize the display because it cuts off the scrollbar of a maximized window and half of the close button.

You probably don't need to configure Ubuntu, rather you should be able to resize and/or recenter your display using the monitor's tuning settings. I have no idea how to do this on an iMac, sorry.
