Can I get my USB keyboard to work in GRUB?
Hey all, Something has been bugging me. When im in GRUB, i have to use my old ugly, falling apart PS2 keyboard to get into linux. because i mainly use my USB keyboard, However, the USB drivers are not loaded in GRUB for my keyboard to be active. Is there a way to get USB support in GRUB so i can throw this ugly PS2 keyboard in my closet? :P

Check to see if you have a USB keyboard option in your motherboard's BIOS. Try enabling it.

Mine does that too unless I specifically enable an option in the BIOS to also allow USB to work in DOS. The option in my BIOS is called something like: "USB keyboard/mouse support: enable/disable". Other BIOS I've had recently said something like: "Enable USB support for DOS". Look around, there should definitely be something there if your motherboard is at all new.

don't worry about the bios it has nothing to do with it or you couldn't choose your os.
