Can't VNC to my system

I've got VNC installed on my PC. But I can't connect to it.

Code:
# nmap -sT -O localhost

Starting Nmap 5.00 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2010-02-15 18:04 EST
Interesting ports on localhost.localdomain (127.0.0.1):
Not shown: 989 closed ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
...
5901/tcp open vnc-1
...
Device type: general purpose
Running: Linux 2.6.X
OS details: Linux 2.6.15 - 2.6.27
Network Distance: 0 hops
Code:
# iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
ACCEPT all -- anywhere anywhere state RELATED,ESTABLISHED
ACCEPT icmp -- anywhere anywhere
ACCEPT all -- anywhere anywhere
ACCEPT tcp -- anywhere anywhere state NEW tcp dpt:ssh
REJECT all -- anywhere anywhere reject-with icmp-host-prohibited

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
REJECT all -- anywhere anywhere reject-with icmp-host-prohibited

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
I've configured my VNC password, and am prompted for the password upon connection attempt. I know I'm entering the proper password.

For some reason, I'm unable to connect to it, whether it be from localhost, another PC, or even my droid.

I AM able to connect via SSH.

Ideas?

Is the service actually running and are you trying to connect to a console session or an individual concurrent session?

Yes the server is running, as can be seen by nmap, and the fact that I'm prompted for password upon connection. I'm not sure what you mean by console vs concurrent connection. I'm simply running "vncserver" at the console prompt.

I meant like KDEs remote desktop which is VNC to the screen0 or port 5900. Which vncserver are you using, tightvnc, xvnc, etc....? Have you tried another vncserver package? The behavior you mention does sound like n incorrectly entered password, but as you said you know you are using the correct password. my next suggestion is try one of the other vnc server packages and see where that gets you.

Did you setup /etc/sysconfig/vncservers and the users .vnc/xstartup files

Are you tunneling VNC via SSH?
