can't view cdrom files


When I insert a cdrom and do a dir in the console, all I see is ????? ????? ?????

anyone know how I can get linux to read the files normaly?

btw, I'm running mandrake 10.1

/dev/hda1 /mnt/win_c ntfs umask=0,nls=iso8859-1,ro 0 0
/dev/hda2 /mnt/win_d vfat umask=0,iocharset=iso8859-1,codepage=850 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hda6 swap swap defaults 0 0

ok try typing mount /mnt/cdrom , then do ls /mnt/cdrom to see if the drive is mounted.

nevermind

I just realized that the wrong decoding module was being used...

i changed it to iso9660, which is the default under windows and it now works.
