Unhappy can't see everything in a directory

The problem is, I have to many objects in the /dev directory, when I use the ls command, it shows all ofcourse but I can only see those at the end. The other ones just rush by. Um, how can I scroll up and see everything in that directory?

Thanx a lot

"ls <args> <dir> | less".
*If you use "more" instead of "less" you can only <spacebar> down.

<Shift> + <Page Up> and <Page Down> also works.
