Can't run root access via VNC

I've setup VNC on RH Enterprise with a VNCuser

I want to remotely use this user, but when running up2date and being asked for the password nothing happens.

Tailing the log file shows me these entries:

Aug 25 10:08:18 server1 userhelper[4621]: pam_timestamp: timestamp file `/var/run/sudo/vncuser/unknown:root' is older than oldest login, disallowing access to system-config-securitylevel for user vncuser

I've never seen this before, any suggestions?

Thanks,
