Can't open multiple X sessions

I have Mandrake 9.1 installed. I tried to open multiple X displays but for some reason can't do it. Is there a certain script that comes with this version that disables this?

The natural questions would be

1) How did you try to start a new X session?
2) What did it say to your attempt?
