Can't mount iso of slackware in redhat


Hello,

i hav downloaded slacware 9.1 on redhat

when i try to mount it is giving me an error
"mount: not a directory"

i tried -o loop also but couldn't succeed

using -o loop another iso file of rhdb is mouting exactly the same way but slackware distro isn't mouting
i hav check this with md5sum and it is alright

hoping for a quick reply

What is the exact command you've used? Have you tried being very specific: mount -t iso9660 filename.iso -o loop /mnt/iso? Also, don't forget that the mountpoint needs to exist before you can mount anything there. So, for example, you'd need to do (as root): mkdir /mnt/iso

well hi

i hav tried -o loop and -t iso9660 every where around the command

but no use;

my rhdb iso file is mounting just like charm but slackware is'nt mouting.

i m /usr directory

[root@Linuxos usr]# mount -t iso9660 slackware-9.1-install-d1.iso -o loop /mnt/slack1
mount: Not a directory
[root@Linuxos usr]#


that is wat i tried any suggestion

when i try that i succeed

[root@Linuxos usr]# mount -t iso9660 rhdb21-i386.iso -o loop /mnt/slack1
[root@Linuxos usr]#


now wat is the problem i can't find out

when i md5sum

[root@Linuxos usr]# md5sum slackware-9.1-install-d1.iso
dfba4b995d326ba46a19288c6d77011d slackware-9.1-install-d1.iso
[root@Linuxos usr]#

so wat now ?
