"So i need to be root on KDE temporarilly"

You can use the su command to become root from within user.

Save the file temporarily somewhere in user space.
Open a konsole.
Type in the command: su
Give the root password when it is asked for.
Use the cp command to copy the temporary file to wherever it belongs.
exit
exit

If you do not know how the cp command works you can issue:
man cp
while you are in konsole, but before you issue su.
