can't locate .rhosts file

hi everybody,
i am a newbie. i can not find the ".rhosts" file. it is not in home or root folders.
please help me.

Most likely you will need to create this file then. On most systems using rsh or rlogin, they don't create this by default for you.

Its usually in the users home directory and if your creating it for the first time, there shouldn't be anything to modify, but add to it..
